Now the dot com is the most sounding ending for web names on people's mind, making it the choice for an easier remembering of your own domain name. This will not mean you have to stick forever with such unique name, because you can also use other different names and extensions as alias, all of them pointing to your site. Go for the .com to start your web site.

The 'www' is NOT part of your domain name - this is a server issue. Many servers REQUIRE the use of this prefix, ours work with or without (either way). Your domain name can be made of: letters of the alphabet, numbers 0 to 9, dash (hyphen) and the ending suffix, like .com or .net or .org (the maximum length for a domain name is 67 characters TOTAL). Capitalization is not an issue on registration (case is not considered, AutoMechanics.com is the same as automechanics.com), this simply depends on whether or not your hosting server supports it. Symbols (>.<?!*...) are not allowed, just the score (-). Names of 4 or less characters have a higher cost. Take a time to define your domain name.
